会议宗旨
煤炭资源开采引发了一系列采动损害与环境问题，如开采沉陷破坏土地与地面建筑物、采动破坏水资源与突水灾害、采动瓦斯灾害与瓦斯排放污染大气、矸石露天排放问题等。为了科学解决煤炭资源开采中的采动损害与环境问题，中国工程院院士钱鸣高教授在本世纪初提出了煤矿绿色开采理念。煤矿绿色开采以及相应的绿色开采技术，在基本概念上是从广义资源的角度上来认识和对待煤、瓦斯、水、土地、矸石等一切可以利用的各种资源；基本出发点是从开采的角度防止或尽可能减轻开采煤炭对环境和其他资源的不良影响；基本手段是控制或利用采动岩层破断运动；目标是取得经济效益的同时取得最佳的环境和社会效益。煤矿绿色开采技术体系包括：减沉开采技术、保水开采技术、煤与瓦斯共采技术、矸石减排技术等。绿色开采理念提出后，得到了学术界和煤炭企业的积极响应，近10年来，中国在煤与瓦斯共采、煤矿充填开采控制沉陷、煤炭开采中的水资源保护等方面的研究取得了较快的发展。
为了交流国内外绿色开采研究的最新进展，从2008年开始，由中国矿业大学煤炭资源与安全开采国家重点实验室每年举办一届“绿色开采理论与实践国际研讨会”（International Symposium on Green Mining，ISGM）。
The Purpose of ISGM
The coal resources mining may lead to a range of hazards and environmental problems, such as subsidence damage to land and surface buildings, pollution to water systems, water inrush, gas outburst, air pollution and mine waste disposal. To scientifically resolve these problems, the concept of “Green Mining” was proposed by Professor Minggao Qian, Member of Chinese Engineering Academy, in the early part of 21st century. The fundamental perception of green coal mining and associated green mining technologies is to recognise and treat coal, methane, water, land and mine waste as useable resources. From the view of mining, the basic point is to eliminate or minimise the adverse impact to the environment and other resources resulting from coal mining activities, with the ultimate goal of achieving economic gains and simultaneously generating great environmental and social benefits. The technological system of green mining includes methods for reducing mining subsidence, water protection, co-extraction of coal and gas, mine waste reduction and utilisation. The introduction of the “Green Mining” concept has been well received by scholars and coal mining enterprises in China and around the world. Over the last ten years, great progress has been made in research and technologies for integrated extraction of coal and coal mine gas, coal mine backfill in order to reduce mining subsidence, water resource protection and many other areas.
To communicate the latest progess in the study of green mining,since2008, the international symposium on green mining was held annually,hosted by the china University of mining and technology, state key laboratory of coal resources and safe mining.
